Partners & distributors
Pranoraa is pre-launch. Nothing has been manufactured, no price list exists, and no territory has been appointed. We are having these conversations now because whoever distributes a product shapes how it is understood, and that is not a decision to take at speed once orders are arriving.
Position
Claims grow between the manufacturer and the counter, cautions get trimmed for a display, and by the time a customer hears about a formulation it has acquired properties nobody at the company would put in writing.
We would rather work with fewer partners who will not do that — so what we look for and what we ask are set out here at the same length, with no figure we cannot yet stand behind.
Not a franchise or a licence, and there is no joining fee of any kind.
Not an appointment. Nothing said in an early conversation reserves a territory.
Not a price list. Costs are unsettled, so there is no margin structure to send.
Not a waiting list we will keep you on. If the fit is wrong, we will say so.
Fit
Fewer partners, chosen slowly. A distributor who reads the label is worth more to this brand than five who move volume by describing the product as something it is not.
Retailers and distributors in categories where the customer turns the pack over and reads the label.
Genuine depth in a defined territory, rather than a broad claim of national coverage.
Willingness to sell a product that prints its cautions as prominently as its ingredients — and to repeat them at the counter.
Clinics and practitioners who recommend conservatively, and will say the evidence is thin where it is.
People who can work with a company that publishes what it does not yet know.
The arrangement
Neither list is longer than the other, and neither is a negotiating position. Both are what we would want written into terms.
Where it is made
A distributor answers for what is on the shelf, so the first thing worth knowing is who makes it. We do not own a facility and do not intend to at this stage. Contract manufacture is the ordinary arrangement for a company of our size, and saying so is more useful to you than photography of a plant the seller does not operate.
Nothing has been manufactured yet. What follows describes a contract and the specification a partner is held to, rather than production under way.
The facility
The facility’s certifications
Awaiting publication
We do not publish the certifications held by the facility that will make our products.
We have not been supplied with copies of the certificates, and we do not publish a certification we have not seen — our own or anybody else’s.
Each will appear with its issuing body, its certificate number, the site it is issued against and its expiry date, once we hold a copy and the facility has agreed to its publication.
The same rule governs anything printed for a shelf. Trade material may not say more than this site says, and this site claims no certification the company has not been awarded.
How it runs
The order matters more than the speed. Each stage exists to make the next one shorter, and diligence runs in both directions.
01
You send the form at the foot of this page.
02
A call rather than a deck. Expect us to ask more than we answer.
03
We look at registrations and trade references. Look at us with the same care — our corporate record is published, gaps included.
04
Written down and read by both sides before anything is agreed. Nothing verbal is relied on, either way.
05
An appointment follows a first order placed, fulfilled and reviewed — not a handshake.
Enquiry
Longer than a contact form, on purpose. Territory, registration and expected volume are the three things that decide whether a conversation will be useful, so they are asked for here rather than three emails later.
Questions
Several of these answers are a version of “we do not know yet”. That is the accurate answer at this stage, and it is more useful to you than a confident one that changes.
