This is not medical advice
Everything published on this website — articles, ingredient monographs, research summaries and product information — is provided for general education.
It is not medical advice. It is not a diagnosis. It is not a treatment plan, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
When to speak to a doctor rather than read a website
Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on anything here if any of the following apply.
- You are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
- You take prescription medication of any kind.
- You are managing a diagnosed condition, including diabetes, thyroid, liver, kidney or autoimmune conditions.
- You are due to have surgery within the next two weeks.
- You are considering giving a supplement to someone under eighteen.
- You have experienced an adverse reaction to a herbal preparation before.
Herbs interact with medication
This is the point most often skipped. Several herbs discussed on this site have documented interactions with common medication — ashwagandha with thyroid and sedative drugs, fenugreek with diabetes medication, turmeric with anticoagulants, among others.
Every ingredient monograph lists the interactions known to us. Please read them, and please tell your doctor about any supplement you take.
In an emergency
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services or go to your nearest hospital. Do not rely on information from this or any other website.
About our products
Pranoraa formulations are food supplements. They are not medicines. They are intended to complement a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle, not to replace either, and not to replace medical care.
Questions about this policy can be sent to us using the details on our contact page. We respond to policy queries within five working days. A complaint follows a separate route, set out in the consumer grievance policy.
